Bella Vida’s Independant Living Community Celebrates Gratitude, Connection, and Giving Back
On November 14, Bella Vida VIPs came together for a special event filled with gratitude, generosity, and community spirit. As future residents of our independent living community, they embraced the opportunity to connect with each other, reflect and give back.
The morning began with a delightful brunch, setting the stage for meaningful conversations. Sally Casey, Director of Sales and Marketing, led a heartfelt discussion on gratitude. She encouraged each table to share what they were thankful for. This interactive moment reinforced the sense of belonging that defines Bella Vida, one of the most sought-after active adult communities in San Antonio.
Giving back was a key theme of the event. VIPs brought non-perishable food donations for the San Antonio Food Bank. Their generosity filled two large barrels, showcasing the caring spirit that thrives in our senior living community.
Adding to the event’s uplifting atmosphere, Jodi Biewen, Senior Living Advisor, read a moving short story by Elizabeth Gilbert. The story was about a bus driver who invited passengers to “deposit their worries” into his hand. She then extended the same invitation to our guests, offering a moment of reflection and support. These heartfelt interactions underscored the deep connections formed in retirement communities like Bella Vida.
Bella Vida is more than just an independent living option—it’s a place where friendships flourish. Giving back is a way of life, and residents experience the best of active senior living. We are grateful to everyone who participated in this special event and look forward to many more moments of joy and connection in our vibrant community for seniors.
