Laying the Groundwork for Bella Vida’s Future

Over the next few months prior to the official groundbreaking, the construction team (PARIC) will be focusing on essential early-stage site preparation activities, including:

  • Cutting and Clearing: Removing necessary vegetation and debris to prepare the site for grading.
  • Grading: Shaping the land to establish proper elevations and ensure a stable foundation for future construction.
  • Utility Work: Laying the groundwork for utilities, such as water, sewer, and electrical connections, to support the community.

These initial steps are crucial for paving the way for the next phases of construction, bringing us closer to you being able to call Bella Vida home.

Highlights From Our Recent VIP Events

Veteran’s Luncheon

Bella Vida hosted a Veterans Appreciation Luncheon for its veterans and spouses on November 8. The event, held at the Magnolia Pancake Haus, included a delicious BBQ meal and plenty of opportunities for VIPs to connect, share stories, and reminisce about their time in service. Songs for each military branch were played at the beginning of the gathering. Attendees waved their flags when their branch was recognized. A big thanks to Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel Don Gleeson, who delivered an engaging and motivational message and posed interactive questions that sparked meaningful conversations among our VIPs. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event so special!

Boots, Brunch & Gratitude

Bella Vida VIPs gathered on November 14 for a heartfelt event focused on gratitude, connection, and giving back. Guests enjoyed delightful brunch, and Sally Casey, Director of Sales and Marketing, led a heartfelt discussion on gratitude, encouraging each table to share what they were thankful for. Future residents brought non-perishable goods for the San Antonio Food Bank, filling two large barrels with donations. Jodi Biewen, Senior Living Advisor, added a thoughtful touch by reading a short story by Elizabeth Gilbert about a bus driver who invited passengers to “deposit their worries” into his hand. Jodi then asked guests to share their worries with her, making for a truly memorable and uplifting experience. It was a morning filled with connection, reflection, and generosity, and we are grateful to all who participated!

Slice to Meet You

On November 19, future residents of Bella Vida introduced their friends to our vibrant community, showcasing the exceptional lifestyle we offer. This unique referral event allowed our VIPs to show off their future community to those they already share their time with. Attendees who brought a friend received a delicious whole pie to take home as a heartfelt thank you for sharing their friends with us.

Afternoon in Bloom

On December 3, Bella Vida VIPs gathered at the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s Betsy Kelso Center to celebrate the holiday season in style. The festive lunch brought together 78 guests to share stories of their favorite holiday traditions while enjoying a delicious meal, fine wine, and warm camaraderie in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Live holiday music added to the festive spirit, and many donned cheerful seasonal attire that brought an extra sparkle to the occasion.

After lunch, guests had the opportunity to explore the stunning gardens on guided tours, enhancing the day’s sense of wonder and celebration. To make the occasion even more memorable, everyone left with a potted succulent to remember the day by. It was a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!

Recent Neighborhood Socials

In September and October, our VIPs who reserved homes on the fourth, fifth, and sixth floors enjoyed meeting and mingling with their future neighbors. It was a memorable and fun evening that will become a foundation for future friendships within the community.
